Showroom Sales Specialist
to join our TEAM! As the
Showroom Sales Specialist , we need someone to provide interior design and product selection advice, product expertise, and thorough follow‑up to facilitate customer experience and influence sales/purchasing decisions. The showroom will be used as a selling tool to drive specifications, sales, and brand awareness.

Saturdays are required for this role
Evening and weekend hours are required
Primary Responsibilities
Provide interior design advice and product expertise, facilitate tile and stone selection, and support project development to ensure all customers complete selection and sales.
Log all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CMT. Communicate with customers and internal team members to follow up and ensure sales closure, reporting monthly sales closures.
Prospect for new business with an emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers. Make outside sales calls as needed and follow up on leads to grow and drive business.
Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining models and displays. Ship customer examples as needed and keep contacts with suppliers and locally sourced vendors to stay current on design and product offerings, complying with Marketing standards for showroom merchandising.
Plan and host showroom tours and events for the industry to drive customer sales. Attend outside trade events to develop industry relationships and build brand awareness.
Experience and Knowledge Required
A four‑year degree in a related field, four years of related experience, or a two‑year degree with two years of related experience.
Competencies: Sales/customer engagement, customer service, design/sketching, reading blueprints/Auto‑CAD, color coordination, interior design trends, customer buying habits, creative thinking.
Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize innovative and imaginative solutions easily, using creative skills to document and sell them to clients.
Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); customer management tools a plus.
Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary to interact with customers, team members, management, and external partners.

Job duties require standing, using hands, and reaching with hands and arms. The associate may need to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally the associate may sit, climb, or balance.
The associate may lift and move up to 80 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
Associates may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, a range of temperatures, and loud noise levels.
