Job Summary As an Account Manager, you will work consultatively with existing emerging‑market customers to identify product growth opportunities. Your primary role is to develop relationships within an assigned territory and create strategic plans in partnership with customers. You will work with Customer Success Managers, Associates, and other teams to develop long‑term strategies and specific campaigns, using phone calls, e‑mails, on‑site visits, and other engagement tactics. You will assess customer needs, propose projects, provide pricing, demonstrate products, and participate in user conferences and marketing campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage customers in a scalable one‑to‑many approach with a growth mindset.
Conduct outbound prospecting to develop targeted opportunities where appropriate.
Lead customer relationship activities.
Maintain accurate account data in contact‑management software.
Develop strategic plans to grow product use and uptake.
Create, maintain, forecast, and report on opportunities using contact‑management software.
Facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings specific to the emerging market.
Troubleshoot client issues and coordinate with internal departments for resolution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Software sales and/or marketing experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to understand, implement, create, and communicate standard operating procedures for job functions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication tools.
Ability to meet critical deadlines.
Knowledge of the Life Sciences, Medical Devices, and Manufacturing industries (preferred).
Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
Past software sales experience (preferred).
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in a technical or business discipline (preferred or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software sales or software sales support role.
Experience in Life Science or Production/Manufacturing (preferred).
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Ability to work non‑standard hours.
Occasional travel (approximately 15 %).
Operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods.
Bending, stooping, and lifting on occasion.

Compensation Salary range: $45,000 – $60,000 base + $45,000 – $60,000 commission/bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
