Position As an

Account Executive

with Popmenu, you'll be part of a growing sales team whose mission is to revolutionize the way restaurants do business. You will work collaboratively with your regional team to develop strategies and messaging that drive awareness and sustain a strong client pipeline. As an owner of relationships, you play a critical role in strengthening our client portfolio in both new and established markets—accelerating growth for both Popmenu and the restaurant industry. Our Account Executives are innovators in prospecting, skilled at articulating the long‑term ROI of restaurant technology, and enthusiastic about our product and purpose. This is a remote role, required to be based in New York City.

Responsibilities

Revenue generation – experts in stirring excitement for our product, selling the long‑term value of a simplified technology solution, and operating in an accelerated sales cycle (from on‑the‑spot signatures to just a few days) by conducting product demos and closing deals.

Cultivating the Popmenu brand – building and nurturing a network within the restaurant community, connecting with owners and operators to understand their challenges and providing solutions that turn prospective clients into Popmenu fans.

Managing client expectations – ensuring we partner only with businesses where we add value, avoiding overly aggressive discounting or unrealistic promises.

Partnering effectively – taking ownership of the company's success and fostering collaboration within internal teams and with external partners to maximize relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver results.

Qualifications

Skilled prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.

Ambitious, self‑motivated self‑starter with a hunter mentality.

Energized by a high‑volume, fast‑paced sales environment.

Confidence and energy in conversations, delivering inspiring product demonstrations and articulating value and ROI.

Excellent interpersonal, customer‑relations skills in person, in writing, and over the phone.

Efficient time management and organizational skills.

Passion for food and technology, and proficiency on a smartphone and tablet.

Experience in the restaurant industry (serving, bussing, cooking, or managing) is a bonus.
