Overview
As a Diagnostic Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales for IDEXX’s Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal businesses through phone, email, and virtual meetings with customers. You will collaborate with Veterinary Diagnostic Consultants (VDCs) to prioritize opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and present tailored solutions to drive growth. The primary success metric is quarterly revenue closed during sales calls.
Responsibilities
Use sales tools to maintain a robust outbound pipeline of opportunities.
Collaborate with VDCs to agree on customer development plans and next steps.
Lead product sales conversations, handle opportunity identification, gain agreement, close sales, and ensure adoption through ongoing engagement.
Develop, implement, and maintain leads within the assigned territory.
Collaborate with the Companion Animal Group to ensure product adoption and conversion; deliver training and education.
Consistently achieve quarterly and annual quotas.
Positively promote and represent the IDEXX brand.
What You Need To Succeed
5+ years of experience selling products and/or services via telephone and internet.
Diagnostic or life sciences sales preferred.
Experience developing new accounts and generating new business from existing accounts.
Experience pursuing sales leads within an assigned geographic territory.
Experience executing sales strategy, identifying new opportunities, and leveraging sales tools to deliver outcomes.
What You Can Expect From Us
Hourly rate of $29/hr + based on experience & ability to earn quarterly commission.
