
ConnectOn is seeking a highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented
Sales Administrator
to join our fast-growing team. Reporting directly to Sales Leadership, this pivotal role provides critical operational support to the sales organization. The Sales Administrator will drive administrative efficiency, enhance internal coordination and help ensure that both prospects and customers experience the professionalism and responsiveness that define ConnectOn’s brand. This is a dynamic, full-time position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about technology, customer experience and operational excellence. Responsibilities Execute and manage assigned tasks, workflows and communications within the
ConnectWise Manage
platform (Manage). Process sales-related administrative tasks and sales-related invoice entries in Manage. Create, manage and distribute weekly sales reporting (e.g., pipeline metrics, lead conversion, activity dashboards). Support the generation and submission of
sales quotes ,
order forms
and associated documentation. Assist in the coordination and preparation of
RFP/RFI responses , working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver polished and accurate submissions. Distribute
inbound leads
to team members based on territory, product line, or vertical. Draft and send assigned
customer communications , including renewal reminders, product announcements, newsletters and satisfaction surveys. Support consistent, on-brand communication across customer touchpoints and ensure CRM data integrity. Procurement Prioritize proposal development based on client needs, as delegated from vCIOs, Account Management and Technology Consultants. Research and design the most appropriate solutions for a customer’s business need. Assist with the creation of project work plans. Support the Sales and Technology Consulting Team to build accurate solution proposals for customers by working with technology vendor resources and ConnectOn service team members. Manage and prioritize prospective business and customer requests as defined by the Sales and Technology Consulting Teams. Communicate directly with clients to identify and confirm business requirements. Shipping and receiving products. Assist with hardware and licensing. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the service offerings of the company. Maintain in-depth product knowledge of industry technologies including Microsoft, Active Directory, VM Ware, Dell, Lenovo, HPE, and HP. Active Directory, server, laptop and desktop computers, desktop operating systems, mobile devices, firewall appliances and licensing. Track sales opportunities within our CRM (customer relationship management software). Maintain in depth knowledge and thorough understanding of the IT distribution channel and network. Maintain relationships with distribution channels and obtain competitive pricing from multiple vendors. Responsible for sourcing products and obtaining quotes from vendors. Recognizing and creating deals. Registrations when appropriate. Following the documented handoff process to procurement. Create proposals using existing company proposal software, tools, and processes. Manage quoting software that holds our product catalog, create and manage templates. Maintain acceptable product margins across all closed business. Marketing & Demand Generation Assist in the planning, logistics and execution of
demand generation events
(webinars, lunch-and-learns, trade shows, etc.). Develop and maintain a
calendar of content
and deliver
social media posts
that highlight ConnectOn’s subject matter expertise, product offerings and thought leadership. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service leaders to highlight wins, customer success stories, team culture and partner ecosystem updates. Team Enablement Maintain updated internal documentation, sales assets and product datasheets. Ensure sales team members have what they need to execute with speed and confidence, including timely access to pitch decks, case studies, pricing tools and training materials. Speak fluently and confidently about ConnectOn’s
value proposition , including all products and services and serve as a first-line resource for customers or internal team members needing information. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in sales support, sales administration or revenue operations role - preferably in a
technology or IT services environment . Preferred experience with
ConnectWise Manage
or other CRM/Sales/PSA platforms. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and productivity tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams). Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and follow-through. Familiarity with IT services, MSP offerings or cybersecurity solutions is a strong plus. Skills Ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations and work with various customers and management levels. Analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks to completion. Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.
