Position Summary
Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking an Account Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position can be based out of Century City, CA or Encino, CA. The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all client-related needs, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finances of their assigned clients, and oversees a staff of bookkeepers.
Primary Responsibilities
Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely manner, disseminating client information internally as appropriate
Coordinate workflow of bookkeeping team
Review and distribute mail
Oversee daily client activity, including requests and timely follow up on all outstanding matters
Review work of bookkeepers (AP/AR, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll, and financial statement review)
Cash management by reviewing bank balances and statements and approving transfers as needed
Download and monitor credit card activity for fraud alerts and credit score issues
Monitor insurance renewals and claims
New client set up, including bank account
Assist with large purchased such as homes and cars
Work with internal firm resources to assist with client contracts, royalties processing, and customized financial schedules
Assist with other financial transactions and reporting, such as 1099s, and annual/quarterly filings
Other projects and duties, as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 3+ years is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance highly preferred
4+ years in a similar role in business management and/or touring is required
3+ years in a client services field
Comprehensive knowledge of the general ledger, AP/AR, insurance, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
Experience withAgilLink ishighly preferred
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and databases
Ability to delegate, manage and train team using clear instructions
Ability to manage high volume of workwhile remaining adaptable
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well asinterpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical-thinking, etc.)

This is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between
$77,000 - $117,500 . Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidate information, including education and work experience, is verified upon an offer of employment. Falsification of application information may be grounds for denying employment.
