Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM About the Role: Manage the sale and development of MC&A events and programs through lead generation, sales, client site inspections, program scope and budget development, and project approval. Collaborate with the operations team and support programs through completion. This is a hybrid position, working from home but based in South Florida. General Tasks include: Manage sales and business development of MC&A programs and events in South Florida Contribute to local sales growth and achieve financial goals Develop partnerships with suppliers and local partners Collaborate with the National Sales team on RFPs, proposals, site inspections, and project approvals Ensure offerings align with local trends and client demand Coordinate with sales, creative, and operations teams to support programs through to completion Specific Responsibilities include: Develop and meet sales objectives with regional management Research and maintain relationships with target hotels and clients Generate new business across various sectors through networking, trade shows, and industry relationships Prepare proposals and budgets to meet client needs and timelines Work with team members to select vendors, venues, and staff that meet or exceed expectations Oversee budget proposals and ensure payments are processed Submit timely reports and complete administrative tasks Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields preferred At least 4 years’ experience in the DMC industry preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of the local destination Consultative sales skills for MC&A services Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software like VIPER, CRM Excellent communication and teamwork skills Customer service commitment and strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and make sound judgments MC&A offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and income protection.
