The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Associate Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Keene or Merrimack, NH. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position. Responsibilities
Review and update client information in agency management systems as needed, i.e., phone numbers, email addresses, etc. Review Premium Increase report for PL account managers. Assign review of policies as needed Send final cancellation letters and/or email when policy cancels for non-payment of premium Process Agency Bill Invoices for the PL team Assist with updating DB escrow billed accounts when checks are made out to Hilb Group instead of the Carrier Generate Auto ID Cards, Binders, and Evidence of Insurance Follow-up on inspection reports Monitor the expiration list of a team member who is on extended leave to ensure renewals are processed Monitor premium finance company cancellation status and activity, file documents in ImageRight Assist insureds with bill payments or billing questions when the account manager is busy or unavailable Generate renewal and other form letters as requested by PL team E-filing/attaching of incoming PL emails in ImageRight, as needed Assist with processing tasks in a team member's To Do List when they are backlogged Assist with personal lines needs for the region, as needed Qualifications
High school degree Good working knowledge of the computer and the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Outlook Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software Ability to analyze work assignments and know when to ask for assistance to complete the assignments promptly Ability to respond promptly to departmental needs and solicit feedback to improve service Prepare professional form letters, write clearly, edit work for spelling and grammar, ability to read and interpret written information Perform all job requirements, consistently produce quality work, complete tasks accurately and on time, prioritize and plan work assignments, use time efficiently to meet productivity standards and commitments Take responsibility for own actions and be responsive to coaching from account managers, team leader and/or department manager Strive to continuously pursue training and development opportunities to build knowledge and skills Understand and follow established Hilb procedures Understand Hilb Employee Handbook Benefits
