Remote – SaaS Sales Training experience required.
Role Overview As a Sales Trainer II, you will coordinate, develop, and deliver advanced sales training programs that elevate the skills and effectiveness of Tekion’s sales team. Working closely with sales leadership, you will identify training needs, design curricula, and ensure the salesforce is equipped to exceed targets.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver advanced sales training programs, including onboarding, product training, sales methodologies, and soft skills development.
Conduct in‑person and virtual training sessions, using a variety of instructional techniques to engage participants.
Provide one‑on‑one coaching and skill reviews to sales representatives, offering constructive feedback.
Develop training materials—presentations, manuals, job aids, e‑learning modules—tailored to sales roles.
Create assessments to measure training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
Apply continuous improvement by staying current on industry trends and best practices.
Collaborate with sales leadership, product teams, and stakeholders to align content with company goals.
Track and report on training outcomes, including satisfaction, knowledge retention, and impact on performance.
Act as a mentor to junior trainers and support overall training program development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field; advanced certifications in sales training or adult learning a plus.
Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies (Challenger, SPIN, Sandler), and best practices.
Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs, in‑person and virtually.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills to motivate sales professionals.
Familiarity with sales enablement tools (LMS, CRM, e‑learning platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical skills to assess effectiveness and make data‑driven decisions.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adjust training strategies.
Experience with instructional design tools (Articulate, Captivate, Canva, WalkMe, Adobe).
Travel 25% travel by plane or car, including overnight stays.
