Key Responsibilities

Property Inspections & Damage Assessment:

Conduct comprehensive property inspections to evaluate the extent of damage and determine restoration needs. Document all issues, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems.

Scope of Work & Estimate Creation:

Thoroughly scope losses and generate precise estimates using Xactimate software, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered.

Insurance Coordination & Approval:

Collaborate directly with insurance adjusters to align on scope, secure necessary approvals, and ensure timely processing of claims.

Customer Proposals & Estimates:

Create detailed, accurate estimates based on damage assessments and communicate the restoration processes, timelines, and costs clearly to customers and insurance adjusters.

Customer Engagement & Support:

Meet with property owners to explain the restoration process, set expectations, and provide guidance during stressful times, offering a calm and confident presence.

Relationship Building & Sales:

Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing adjusters, while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities with additional adjusters to grow the network.

Project Handoff & Transition:

Seamlessly transition awarded projects to the production team, ensuring all details are clearly communicated and the handoff is smooth for efficient project execution.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of estimating experience in restoration, construction, or insurance industry

Proficiency in Xactimate

Excellent time management and ability to work within established systems, software, mobile apps, and communication tools

High attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
