Job Overview Epoxy Coating Specialists is hiring a skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on resinous flooring and coatings projects across the country. This full-time role blends hands‑on field leadership with strategic oversight—coordinating crews, supporting project management, and ensuring high‑quality installations across multiple sites. Whether leading one long‑term project or managing multiple shorter field operations, this position is critical to delivering our work safely, efficiently, and to top‑tier standards.

Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Oversight
Supervise daily operations across multiple job sites.
Lead and manage installation crews, junior leads, and journeymen.
Coordinate with Project Managers to align resources and schedules.
Serve as on‑site lead for long‑duration or high‑priority projects.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety protocols.
Site Management & Quality Control
Oversee proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards.
Perform regular site inspections to confirm surface prep, application, and finish quality.
Utilize Procore and construction software for reporting and documentation.
Team Development
Recruit, train, and develop Lead Installers and crew members.
Provide mentorship and coaching to maintain performance and promote internal growth.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Coordination & Communication
Act as liaison between field crews, project management, warehouse, and clients.
Manage labor scheduling, material coordination, and workflow planning.
Represent ECS professionally in pre‑construction meetings and site evaluations.
Operations Support
Temporarily support or act as Operations Manager when needed.
Maintain consistency in procedures and project delivery across all job sites.
Serve as Site Lead Installer when job demands or resource levels require.
Assist crews during installation phases to ensure quality execution and timely delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in resinous flooring or related construction trades.
Strong expertise in epoxy, urethane, MMA, and polyurethane cement systems.
Proven leadership in supervising crews and coordinating multi‑site operations.
Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction management tools.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and job specifications.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
OSHA 30‑hour certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturer certifications for resinous flooring systems.
Experience with moisture mitigation and substrate preparation.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Schedule Full‑Time
Monday–Friday
Weekend and Overtime Work as Needed
Location Position is based out of the Kansas City operational area, with extensive travel required across regional and national job sites.
