Salary Range:

$44,400 – $52,000 per year.

As a Fraud Specialist I you will act as a detective, advisor, and problem‑solver, helping the team interpret evolving banking regulations and maintain industry compliance. The role suits someone who enjoys research, critical thinking, and guiding others with clarity and confidence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Research, review, and interpret existing and pending laws and regulations that affect the assigned regulatory area, including CRA, HMDA, etc.

Collaborate with Compliance Specialists and the Compliance Manager to meet the requirements of the Compliance Management Program, including associate training, internal assessments, and board reporting.

Provide administrative support to the compliance manager and ensure all departmental activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Complete required compliance training and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree from an accredited institution or two to four years of equivalent compliance experience (preferred).

Strong reading comprehension and ability to interpret procedural manuals, regulations, and financial or legal documents.

Excellent written communication skills for business correspondence, reports, procedures, and responses to customer complaints and regulatory agencies.

Effective time‑management, communication, and organizational skills.

Computer Skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
