Schedule:
Part-Time, Weekends Only (11p‑7a)
The Palmettos of Bluffton is looking for a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. We offer a fun, team‑oriented environment where you can make a meaningful difference every shift.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other daily personal care
Change linens and help keep resident rooms organized
Assist with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics
Take and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption
Observe residents and report changes to the Charge Nurse
Support resident choice, dignity, and independence
Assist with meals, hydration, and transporting residents to the dining room
Maintain basic housekeeping and infection‑control standards
Answer call lights promptly
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in senior care, customer service, or healthcare preferred
Strong communication skills
Experience with older adults preferred
Flexible schedule required
