Respiratory Therapist - RRT/CRT
Shifts Available Nights ONLY (Rotating Weekends)
Job Summary Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set‑up, and maintains routine and non‑routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy. Ability to perform and interpret arterial blood gases.
Qualifications
1yr minimum of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit) — would consider those with home care and/or long‑term care experience.
FL State Respiratory License
NBRC – RRT/CRT
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
NRP – Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Compensation
Pay rates: up to $36.95/hr (based on years of experience)
Sign‑on: $15,000
Relocation: case by case
Shift differential: $3.25/hr for nights; $2/hr for weekends
