The Assembly Test Technician is responsible for assembling and testing various components which Airflow supports, ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards in accordance with applicable work instructions. The Assembly Test Technician utilizes technical diagrams and work instructions, uses tools and machinery to assemble parts, troubleshoots any issues, and conducts thorough testing to verify functionality. Attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and a meticulous approach are crucial in this role to ensure the reliability and performance of the final product, while all applicable documentation is accurate embracing and demonstrating Airflow's Core Values of Integrity, Trust, Teamwork, and Accountability. The Grade 3 Technician consistently exceeds expectations in their performance. They take ownership of tasks, demonstrate leadership qualities, and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes or products. They exhibit strong adaptability and resilience in challenging situations. Responsibilities: (additional duties may be assigned) The Grade 3 Technician is able to overhaul, build new, and test all models of carburetors and/or servos, and accessories without supervision. Finished work is presented to a Grade 4 Certified Repairman for final inspection Evaluates all cores and their associated documents before beginning assembly and test. Confirms the accuracy of information in the documented sleeve accurately describes the parts in the bin. Establish and understand the latest information for the system in question is readily available and thoroughly understood before Assembly and Test work begins. Ensure that the assembly and test of the fuel system is in compliance with equipment manufacturer's overhaul manual and AVStar's Quality Manual requirements. Communicate any quality concerns to the Operations Manager and/or Quality Manager. All Airflow personnel are responsible to identify and report non-conformities and are empowered to make suggestions for continuous improvements while being responsible for inspection of all processes and/or products. All employees should maintain the Quality System based on current knowledge and understanding of the required procedural conformances. Conform to quality procedures, standard operating procedures, and company work instructions always seeking continuous improvement Must pass pre-employment drug test, and any random drug tests. Maintain detailed, organized, and accurate documentation. Keep work area clean and orderly. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum 3 years mechanical experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Team player and a good communicator. Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. Read, understand, and follow work instructions. Basic math skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team following procedural processes. Maintain professional and technical knowledge. Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic work environment which often involves change in priorities. Ability to accurately perform basic computer tasks in Company ERP system. Possesses interpersonal skills adequate for frequent interface with all levels of the organization. Work will include cross-functional team responsibilities always seeking continuous improvement of product. Compensation commensurate with experience.
