We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Resident Assistant/Med Aide to join our team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will provide support and assistance to residents with daily living activities and medication management, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and document accurately. Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents to promote their well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly living environment for residents. Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Participate in training and team meetings to stay current on best practices and compliance standards. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a healthcare or residential care setting preferred. Certification as a Medication Aide or willingness to obtain certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs. Basic knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting residents. This position is based in a residential care facility in Greenville, SC.
