PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY: GTB is responsible for managing the advertising (both traditional & digital), creative, strategy, analytics, & strategic partnerships for the Oklahoma Ford Dealers Advertising Fund. The Oklahoma Ford Dealers Association represents the 56 Ford dealerships across Oklahoma who contribute to a central advertising fund managed by an elected Board of Directors.
The Account Manager (AM) is a key member of the Account Services team and is a client-facing role to the Oklahoma Ford Dealers Board. The AM will report directly to the Account Director for the Oklahoma FDAF. The job requires a mix of external client management and internal project management, as the AM will be involved in almost every aspect of client business.
Internally, the AM will serve as the "day-to-day" lead between GTB departments, vendors, partners, and clients. They will organize and participate in monthly Board Meetings. High-level organizational skills and a positive "go-getting" attitude are essential.
Externally, the AM will be a client-facing contact to the Oklahoma Ford Dealers Advertising Board. Responsibilities include attending and presenting at monthly Board Meetings, accompanying the AD on dealer visits, working closely with advertising partners, and being a key "face" of the agency.
This role can be a career springboard within the advertising industry for the right candidate.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Interact regularly with agency teams, clients, and external vendors/partners.
Coordinate daily project activities and timelines with internal departments such as Account Services, Media, Strategy/Analytics, Creative, Operations, and Production.
Maintain communication with external partners regarding assets, sponsorships, and promotions, and provide updates to dealer clients.
Prepare for and participate in monthly Board Meetings, including meetings, client hospitality, and presentations.
Develop and manage client relationships, managing expectations and needs.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance advertising plans and marketing strategies based on insights.
OTHER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT DUTIES:
Manage internal processes, including creative production, trafficking ads, media plans, budgeting, and organization.
Oversee budgets and program costs, and handle administrative tasks.
Ensure quality control in creative production and trafficking processes.
Recommend improvements to work processes and quality.
Update status trackers and reports.
Handle special requests from internal teams and clients.
Support adherence to company standards and ISO9001 requirements.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams; experience with media software is a plus.
Experience with digital and social media campaigns, from planning to measurement.
Creative, analytical, highly organized with strong project management skills.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work remotely and in-office, with willingness to travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
1-2 years of relevant marketing, media, or agency experience, preferably as an AE, AAE, or Jr. AE. Automotive, retail, media, or direct response advertising experience is a plus.
