Associate Account Manager – Sales Development Journey - January Start Date!

Overview As an Associate Account Manager, you will work closely with Dexian’s senior‑level sales teams and mentors during the Sales Development Journey. The program trains you to become a successful Account Manager, offering a base salary, benefits, and an uncapped commission plan that is tracked through enterprise dashboards.
Primary Responsibilities
Meet with clients and candidates (potential consultants) face to face to determine their needs
Shadow sales team activities and role play with leadership to learn effective sales strategies
Partner with Account Managers to expand your client base through networking and cold calling in an assigned territory
Develop relationships and partner with the sales team through client meetings in and out of the office
Evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements to qualify candidates for order placement as an Account Manager
Negotiate wage rates and other terms of employment with candidates and clients
Maintain regular communication with placed consultants and job seekers to expand your network and industry knowledge
Call professional references and work toward converting those relationships into client meetings
Qualifications
Entry‑level sales experience through internships, civic or community organizations, or other relevant work experience
Excellent at building new relationships, finding and closing new opportunities, networking, and interacting with professionals
Strong listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
Competitive, high‑achieving work ethic
Enjoys a fast‑paced, fun, dynamic, and collaborative culture while consistently meeting new people
Capable under pressure, able to multi‑task, prioritize, and handle challenging situations
Willingness to learn and teach others in a fluid, industry‑leading training program and environment
High degree of self‑motivation and sense of urgency to achieve objectives and exceed expectations
Professional appearance, demeanor, and approach to work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
