Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, sweeping, and material handling to support plant operations* Assist with equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation* Operate mobile equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and forklifts as needed* Monitor and report any safety or operational issues to supervisors* Support production teams with tasks that ensure continuous plant operation**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork* Ability to operate or learn to operate mobile and plant equipment* Willingness to work in a physically demanding and outdoor environment* Strong communication skills and attention to detail* Capability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Must be eligible to work in the United States and comply with all company policies and safety standards**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer*** $20-$23 per hour* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
