Provides assistance with documentation of social activities.
Interviews the residents, documents, keeps up the quarterly charting and at times assists with social activities.Day shiftPay based on experience starting at $16.14**Responsibilities**Carries out activity program, assisting with transportation; providing a neat, clean and safe activity area.
Provides a variety of activities for all resident, group, and 1 to 1., Chooses a specific activity plan for each resident according to resident interest and abilities.
Updates care plans quarterly, and on re-admission., Designs and coordinates an activity program which meets state, federal and JCAHO regulations and also meets the needs and interests of the residents.
Plans family focused activities monthly.
Maintains a continuous list of activity ideas., Develops and implements activities for residents unable to leave their rooms.
Makes room visits, holds conversations with residents, and reassures them and gives moral support where necessary. , Develops and maintains contact with community agencies and organizations. , Document residents activities and response to those activities., Maintains a working relationship with hospital auxiliary and other volunteer groups who volunteer in the facility.
Monitors Activity volunteers when they are in the facility.
Actively looks for ways to increase number of volunteers., Maintains a written planned schedule of social and other purposeful independent or group activities.
Coordinates the activity schedule with other resident services.
Prepares and posts activity calendar., Participates in interdisciplinary care plan team., Responds to residents’ call light and other indicators for assistance promptly and courteously and follows through to meet residents’ needs., Schedules staff to meet customer needs based on activities and volumes.
