Responsibilities
Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and DOT physical (if applicable)
Must have own transportation to and from job site, and must be at the job site working by the designated start time
Hours on job may vary
Required to have hammer, tape, nail apron, utility knife, safety toed shoes, and rubber overshoes
Responsible for the quality of the finished concrete slab
Ensure that the job site is clean and professional looking before leaving
Ability to inspect machinery and perform basic maintenance including but not limited to checking oil levels, gas/oil mix, and lubricating parts as needed
Finishers are required to work with the crew on set up and other duties prior to the pour
Job will include bull-floating, power troweling, brooming, shooting grade, nailing of forms, screeding sand, placing and tying rebar, shoveling sand, stripping forms, leveling concrete, sealing or curing concrete, installing sump or floor drains, operating a skid steer, cutting control joints or applying zip strip, using a wheelbarrow, running a plate compacter, measuring and accurately cutting forms
