Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.**Job Responsibilities:**KNOWLEDGE:General knowledge of troubleshooting, materials and methods, machines and tools, and practical application of toolingSound understanding and knowledge of die work/operations Sound understanding and machine knowledge, able to run all tool room equipment including measuring instrumentsSound understanding and knowledge of Press and Assembly Operations and Quality proceduresMust be able to provide own toolsMust have basic knowledge of drafting (blueprint reading, dimension drawings, etc.)Basic knowledge in automationComputer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferredEDUCATION:High School diploma or GEDPost-secondary education preferred in tool and dieTECHNICAL TRAINING:Minimum of two years on-the-job training with heavy industrial manufacturing experience in skilled trade capacityWORK EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tool and die capacityADDITIONAL SKILLS OR ABILITIES WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR THE JOB:Journeyman Certification is a plus## ## ****Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:****At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
