JR121958**About The Role:**Arbor Homes is currently looking to hire a Construction Builder for our communities in the Central Ohio market as we continue to grow into the surrounding Columbus areas.* Opportunity to work with a growth motivated company from the ground up!* Base salary + bonus opportunities* Advancement opportunities* Exposure to executive leadership* Team outings and company-sponsored volunteer events* 4 weeks of Paid Time Off!* Access to health and life insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, company discounts, etc.Lead the day-to-day construction activities with the following:* Oversee the construction activities and security of each home* Use Quality Control checklist to confirm progress made and the quality of work that was done the day prior.* Ensure job readiness for the next trade.* Responsible for keeping houses, garages, lots, and common areas clean by setting expectations with subcontractors and consistently holding them accountable* Daily vigilance of Trade Partner accountability to the schedule* Under the Construction Manager’s guidance take on process improvement efforts for the betterment of the company and division.* Participate in leadership improvement training as provided locally and regionally.* Perform preconstruction and pre-drywall meetings with each buyer as outlined by the building schedule.* Maintain weekly proactive customer communication* Maintain and oversee safe work environment* Cross functional communication with purchasing, estimating, drafting toward process improvement efforts.* A positive mental approach with a “can do” spirit* Problem ownership and problem-solving approach* Ability Plan, organize and lead a field operations team.* Ability to understand a quality, timely build that ends with a signed off home and happy homeowner.* Communication and follow up.* Sense of urgency and proactiveness.* Ability to train and develop others.*This is subject to change based on needs or if special circumstances should arrive.**Arbor Homes is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
