Maintenance Assistant

What You’ll Do Assist with maintenance and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
Perform seasonal upkeep and routine inspections to keep the community in top condition
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
Carry out general tasks such as painting, carpentry, landscaping, and groundskeeping
Support the Maintenance Manager in coordinating with vendors and contractors
Follow all safety protocols to create a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors
What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training a plus)
Experience in general maintenance; healthcare or residential setting preferred
Hands‑on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry helpful
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of safety standards for facility maintenance
Strong communication skills and a helpful, resident‑focused attitude
