The Maintenance Crew Member installs and removes seasonal floats, repairs, rebuilds piers, fabricates floats; design, install, and maintain ice prevention systems. Position is accountable to the Foreman for:
Completing projects within budget guidelines
Manage man hours assigned to each project
Daily communication with the Maintenance Superintendent
Skills training on the job as needed

CDL-B with Manual & Air Brake Endorsement a plus but not required
current MA DOT medical card or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

The Beacon Way of Carpentry
Driving trucks
Rigging & working around cranes
Pile Driving
Many other trade skills such as welding and excavating.

Experience: Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License (Required)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
Weekends are unusual but occasionally required during peak season
Expected Hours: 40 – 45 hours per week
