What You’ll Do As a Construction Account Manager In this role, you’ll be responsible for growing and managing a diverse customer base, developing long-term relationships, and driving business development across multiple accounts.
You’ll
Hit the ground running by making immediate sales calls in your territory
Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all organizational levels
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand account packages
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple sales offices to support your accounts
Navigate complex manufacturing environments to uncover and solve challenges
Provide solutions that deliver win/win outcomes for customers and Kirby Risk
Represent Kirby Risk with professionalism in every customer and vendor interaction
What Makes You a Great Fit
3–5 years of successful sales experience (industry experience in Electrical Supply is a plus)
Proven ability to manage accounts and relationships in a competitive territory
Strong problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or contradictory situations
Ability to follow company processes while applying creativity to solve challenges
Skilled at building relationships at all organizational levels within manufacturing facilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
Known for a positive outlook, professionalism, and a continuous learning mindset
What To Expect In This Role
Territory supported by multiple Kirby Risk sales offices
Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers
Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility for customer or vendor events
