Job Summary As an Account Manager, you will perform a variety of duties to ensure our customers’ satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed all customer expectations.

Handle customer requests with a sense of urgency.

Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

Promote strong customer relationships both internally and externally.

Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Serve as the key contact for issues from quoting to invoicing.

Accurately process quotes, orders, returns, and purchases via phone, fax, email, and the ERP system.

Estimate delivery dates to customers based on production and delivery schedules.

Manage multiple priorities.

Review open order reports daily to ensure customer expectations are met.

Issue and follow up on purchase orders to vendors.

Follow through on each transaction to completion.

Keep up to date with new product, inventory, market conditions, and industry trends.

Ensure all efforts align with business goals and objectives.

Work closely with outside sales, operations, and accounting teams.

Communicate on potential leads and opportunities from various sources to outside sales.

Make outbound lead follow‑up calls by telephone and e‑mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.

Provide new and current customer data to the AR Department.

Maintain multiple customer engagement platforms, CRM, e‑mail, phone, and calendar.

Travel may be required for business development, continuous improvement, installs, customer sites, trade shows, and product training.

Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Work Environment This job operates in a clerical office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Physical Demands The role is largely sedentary and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position in office. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends required.

Pay Range $24.00 - $28.00 an hour
