Responsibilities As an
Outside Sales Rep , you will understand Orkin’s products and services, and how to sell them to various industries. You will make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to prevent pests, uphold safety and quality standards, and meet regulatory requirements. Your role involves solving problems and building trusted relationships, listening to customer needs, and explaining practical solutions confidently and empathetically.
Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial clients, utilizing training to recommend the best solutions
Achieve sales goals through prospecting and lead follow-up
Use marketing tools to drive new business
Conduct property inspections (training provided)
Make recommendations, address questions, and set expectations to ensure customer confidence
Use provided tools (iPad) to prepare sales agreements and stay organized (training provided)

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
No experience required; sales experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification (company-paid)
Ability to work independently and interact with customers in homes and businesses
Physical Demands / Working Conditions Must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely, with or without accommodations:
Use of ladders within weight limits
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Access crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
Wear PPE, including respirators
Work in various weather conditions
