Responsibilities
Processing freight Assisting with price changes/markdowns Balances register according to company policy Calls out prices for customer when ringing a register transaction Bags merchandise efficiently at the point of sale Handles cash, checks, and credit cards according to company policy Obtains management approval for returns, voids, and checks Maintains store upkeep and housekeeping duties as assigned Provides customer service: greets customers, adheres to fitting room policies, rings up customers in a timely fashion, and thanks customers for shopping Follows all safety procedures Maintains a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag Assists management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels Assists management with tasks per company policy Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Assists Store Manager with loss prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following current policies Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Details
