CDL B Local Route Driver – Providence, RI
NorthEast Electrical is seeking a full‑time, local‑route CDL B Driver to join our growing team in Providence, RI.
About the Role Hours: Monday‑Friday, 6:30 a.m. start. Rate: $25.50/hr.
Responsibilities
Deliver materials to customers in a timely manner.
Maintain the vehicle in proper working condition – conduct daily inspections.
Load and unload trucks and move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart or other devices.
Count, check, prepare, and record items received or shipped.
Assemble, package, label, stack, palletise, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
Complete paperwork, documentation and data input in accordance with established procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.
Qualifications
Valid CDL B license with a clean MVR for the past 3 years.
Moffitt Certification preferred.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 75 lb.
Strong math and reading skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
