OKC is seeking part-time and full-time Sales Associates who are responsible for generating sales by providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. The Sales Associate maximizes sales by delivering friendly and knowledgeable service and ensuring the store is neat, clean, and well-presented at all times. The Sales Associate is expected to represent Old Kentucky Chocolates values and behavior in all actions and interactions with customers in order to creative a positive shopping experience. POSITION SUMMARY
Old Kentucky Chocolates is an award-winning chocolate company, recently named “The Best in Lexington - Candy Store 2023, 2024 and 2025”. OKC is seeking part-time and full-time Sales Associates who are responsible for generating sales by providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. The Sales Associate maximizes sales by delivering friendly and knowledgeable service and ensuring the store is neat, clean, and well-presented at all times. The Sales Associate is expected to represent Old Kentucky Chocolates values and behavior in all actions and interactions with customers in order to creative a positive shopping experience.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Provide exceptional customer service, by promptly greeting customers entering the store. Maximize sales by providing customers with product knowledge which will enhance their customer experience. Maximize sales by providing recommendations of complementary products. Perform transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established guidelines. Consistently provide support to fellow employees through the sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks, and/or assisting in customer interactions to create a positive store environment. In between serving customers, the Sales Associate is responsible for replenishing the store throughout the day and to merchandise all products to company standards on shelves and tables. Sales Associates are responsible for overall store cleanliness including sales, floor, cashiers area, and restrooms. Understands and adheres to all company policy and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous retail experience is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with others as a team. Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
