Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Sr. Sales (Account) Manager located at their HQ in Auburn Hills, MI.
If you have experience within automotive sales, then this position might be right for you! Job Responsibilities: Acquisition of new global/regional projects according to product and customer strategy including preparation of cost breakdowns Work with Sales Director and Team to prepare and present business cases to Webasto Executive Management and outline quoting strategy for profitable business Support/lead comprehensive pricing and contract negotiations including change management based on economics and risk assessment to ensure profitable and sustainable growth for the region Establish routine utilization of internal/external sales tools (Global Planning Database, Profitability Calculation, Program Planning Sheets, Cost Breakdown, Quotation Matrix…) Ensure day-to-day and strategic sales activities are prepared, aligned, and executed Provide customer care by making regular visits to key contacts of our customers to check customer satisfaction and develop and expand customer relationships (networking) as well as register customer needs. Build and maintain sustainable relationships with all important departments of the OEM Interface between Webasto Acquisition- and Project teams and customer commercial contacts, providing continuous support across all gateways of the product evolution process (PEP) Coordinate administrative / cross-functional topics / customer communication and support with internal Sales Specialist Support the budgeting/forecasting of sales within timeline as given by corporate finance, including monitoring of budget targets Support and contribute to regular customer group meetings / information exchange / best practice sharing. Development and realization of sales planning to fulfill defined revenue, sales, and profit targets of several customers in the regions Identification of competitor activities and strategies of the customer and provision of market and competitor information to Market Intelligence Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field 5+ years automotive experience in sales or business development, preferably with European customers and regional Start-ups Comprehensive understanding of commercial/economic context and cost awareness Strong negotiating and conflict management skills Webasto is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
