Account Manager- Service/Repair (Albany)

Responsibilities Responsible for successfully securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work and developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers so that the branch meets annual revenue goals.
Exceeds sales goals and quotas by utilizing company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
Manages service accounts by visiting with Tier 1, 2 and 3 customers within assigned territory, building ongoing relationships and understanding customer needs. Includes BOMA and other group involvement.
Develops capital plans for customers to address short‑ and long‑term building needs.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training and studying manuals and supplier info, including local elevator code requirements.
Prepares repair job proposals by estimating labor and other costs using estimating software, obtaining price estimates from suppliers, reviewing blueprints, surveying equipment, and coordinating with operations personnel for approvals.
Prepares service contract bids, reviewing blueprints and surveying equipment when necessary and coordinating with operations personnel.
Receives and responds to written and oral questions related to quoted repairs and service contracts, performing follow‑up with customers on all proposals.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of sales experience or training required; for candidates with 3+ years of elevator sales experience, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings preferred.
Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevator strongly preferred.
Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $56,800–$82,350, plus car allowance, fuel card, and monthly commission program. Additional benefits include medical (including dental, vision, supplemental plans), flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), relocation assistance for relocation >50 miles, 15 days paid time off per year, 11 paid holidays, 5 sick leave days, and up to six weeks paid parental leave after 90 days.
