As a Consultant II at Taylor & Company , you will play a key role in delivering high-impact strategic and financial advisory solutions to clients across industries. Having transitioned from the Analyst role, you are now expected to take greater ownership of workstreams, independently structure and solve complex business problems, and contributing meaningfully to client engagement, insight generation, and project execution. You will work closely with Engagement Managers and Principals, while also mentoring junior team members and interacting directly with client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Structure and manage discrete workstreams within larger client engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesize findings, and develop actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design strategic recommendations in areas such as growth strategy, operational transformation, financial restructuring, and digital enablement
Prepare client‑ready presentations, reports, and models that communicate insights clearly and persuasively
Participate in and occasionally lead client meetings, presenting key findings and fielding questions with confidence
Contribute to the development of strategic frameworks, financial models, market research, and investment analyses
Begin developing industry specialization by staying abreast of market trends, best practices, and client‑specific knowledge
Mentor Analysts, provide feedback, and help manage team dynamics within project teams
Support internal initiatives such as knowledge development, IP creation, recruiting, and training
Uphold the firm’s values of analytical rigor, client service excellence, and ethical advisory
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier institution in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
Typically 2–4 years of experience as an Analyst or in a similar role at a consulting, financial services, or professional services firm
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using structured thinking, data analysis, and business judgment
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or SQL)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work in fast‑paced, client‑facing environments
Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail
