Under the general direction of the Tooling Area Manager, the Tooling Associate is responsible for supporting production operations by servicing die sets, repairing, and troubleshooting metal stamping dies, making corrections when possible with the dies in the presses, and using SPC data to determine dimensional integrity for die adjustments & documents.
Requirements: Completion of a certified 4 year apprenticeship program in die making and/or journeymen Tool & Die maker preferred. 5 years of consecutive work in a T&D shop.
Qualifications Skills Preferred Advanced
Behaviors Preferred Detail Oriented Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
Education Journeyman or better.
