We are in search of a skilled Mechanical or Structural CAD Technician to join our team. The CAD Technician will play a crucial role in creating precise technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, specializing in mechanical and structural drafting for a range of projects. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or Tekla, along with other relevant software to deliver accurate and detailed drawings.
Responsibilities
Utilize CAD software to generate 2D and 3D mechanical and structural drawings for engineering designs and architectural schematics
Collaborate closely with engineers and structural designers to grasp project requirements and specifications
Develop detailed drafts and documentation essential for construction projects
Perform thorough quality control checks on drawings to ensure precision and adherence to standards
Aid in refining and adjusting designs based on feedback from project stakeholders
Maintain well-organized records of all drawings and revisions
Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or Tekla, along with other relevant CAD software
Experience in mechanical drafting, structural design, or related fields
Exceptional attention to detail and precision in drafting technical drawings
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information
5-8 year of experience in mechanical or structural detailing
