Our purpose is to help those suffering from severe mental illness to live in the least restrictive setting that is compatible with their level of functioning. As a Residential Counselor in our Adult Residential Program, you will provide for the safety and security of adult clients within the residential setting by promoting a healthful and supportive environment. You will work closely with the residential nurse, supervisor and director in the implementation of adult individualized rehabilitation treatment goals.**Program Info**As residential health care providers, we are committed to enriching our individuals’ lives by promoting a helpful and supportive environment. Our intent is to support and assist the individuals in achieving their desired level of recovery within their desired wellness domains. In addition to recovery orientation, the goal of the residential program is to provide skills teaching, education, encourage personal growth and increased demonstration of independence within activities of daily living so the resident can integrate into the community to a residence of their choice. While they remain in the residential program, the goal is to provide the least restrictive but most clinically appropriate structured setting.
