Salary Description:
$16.50-$17.50/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients
Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist
Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training
Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
