Denials Specialist
Shift: Day Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Summary:
The Denial Specialist assumes responsibility and accountability for working claim denials for Baptist Health. This includes initiating the denial appeal process, documenting and tracking the status of appeals, and working with the payors to resolve in a timely manner. They will work closely with the supervisor to assist in collecting data on root causes and denial prevention procedures Other information:
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred. 5 years experience in medical billing and insurance. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and effectively multitask. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills required. Ability to communicate accurately, clearly, and professionally. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly. Connect With Us
