The Stewartville Public School’s main office is located in Stewartville, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 1,940 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Stewartville School Board seeks a superintendent with strong leadership skills who:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of school finance, including strategic resource allocation and fiscal oversight to support district goals and ensure financial stability
Leads with transparency, honesty, and integrity in all interactions, fostering trust and accountability
Maintains a visible and approachable presence, actively engaging and being available to the school board, staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders
Communicates clearly, confidently, and adaptively, ensuring messages are understood and responsive to diverse audiences and changing circumstances
Builds, guides, and empowers a dynamic leadership team, promoting collaboration, professional growth, and shared responsibility for district success
Stays informed about legislative changes and engages the school district in advocacy efforts, ensuring the district’s interests are represented and supported
Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.
SALARY/CONTRACT: A competitive compensation and benefits package, with a starting salary range of $170,000 – $190,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. Contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute. Additional benefits available may include Health, Life, and Long-term disability insurance; 403(b) match; and more.
