Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our team for new client implementation projects. You will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, and ensuring a successful project rollout.

Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with the client's product owner and business stakeholders to understand their needs, workflows, and pain points.

Collaborate with product owner to clarify requirements and define project scope.

Document and analyze user stories, ensuring clarity and completeness.

User Story Creation and Acceptance Criteria: Develop user stories that detail system functionalities from the user's perspective.

Define clear and measurable acceptance criteria for each user story to validate successful implementation.

Agile Project Management: Schedule and facilitate user story grooming sessions to prioritize and refine the backlog.

Run daily standup meetings to keep the project team aligned and on track.

Escalate any questions or roadblocks to the appropriate parties.

Communication and Reporting: Facilitate clear communication between the business team, product owner, and development team.

Proactively update stakeholders on project progress and identify potential risks.

Prepare and present key team metrics during sprint review meetings.

Mentorship and Collaboration: Create a respectful and collaborative work environment.

Pair with junior Business Analysts to provide guidance and support their development.

Required Skills

Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and user story development.

Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, use case analysis).

Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) & strong technical acumen.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proactive, responsive, and eager to learn.

Proficiency in Visio.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Proficiency in Jira.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have

Healthcare industry experience – Payer side or PBM – knowledge of claims, adjudication process, member data, eligibility data, etc.

Client implementation project experience.

IIBA Agile Analysis Certification or other Agile Analyst Certifications.
