Duties And Responsibilities

Pipe Crew / Pipe Layer should have at least three years’ experience in the installation of water, sanitary sewer lines, force-mains, storm drainage pipe such as PVC, DIP, RCP and HDPE pipe.

Communicate all daily activities to the Underground Foreman / Superintendent

Enforce OSHA safety standards on site at all times.

Must be dependable and willing to work 40-50 hours per week as needed

Advanced knowledge of the site and utility construction industry, such as site layout, site grading, excavation, above ground/underground utilities, and storm water drainage structures.

Ability to understand and implement construction documents such as drawings, specifications.

Manage most efficient use of equipment and company assets

Job Requirements

3-5 years’ experience laying Pipe

3+ years project responsibility in heavy civil construction, underground utility installation for City, County, Private or DOT construction projects

Experience with Storm drain pipe is a MUST but all additional pipe experience is welcome.

Knowledge of heavy equipment operations

Able to manage, communicate and enforce production goals and schedules with crews

Knowledgeable of OSHA Safety Regulations

Must pass a drug screening

Legally allowed to work in the US and have a valid Driver’s License

Lift Station Experience is preferred

Preferred Education/Training/Certification OSHA Training

MSHA Part 46 Training

First Aid / CPR
