About Our Client Addison Group is seeking a Personal Banker on behalf of our client. This role supports a high-volume branch environment and requires strong customer service, sales acumen, and the ability to build relationships within the community.
Job Description This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with banking needs, promoting financial solutions, and ensuring a positive experience. The Personal Banker will work standard weekday hours, with rotating weekend coverage and a shift differential for select hours.
Key Responsibilities
Create a welcoming environment for customers by providing professional and attentive service
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services
Assist with opening new accounts, processing loan requests, and handling everyday banking transactions
Maintain accurate cash handling and follow internal security and compliance procedures
Build rapport with customers and generate business through community outreach
Address questions and resolve concerns in a timely, solutions-oriented manner
Support branch operations and collaborate with team members as needed
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a goal-driven sales environment with strong results
Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience within a customer-facing setting
Comfortable engaging with the community and generating referrals, including local business visits
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Outgoing, confident, and customer-focused demeanor
Willingness to obtain Notary certification (sponsored by employer if not already held)
Preferred Skills
Background in retail banking or financial services
Bilingual Spanish skills (verbal and written)
Additional Details
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Shift differential available for late weekday and Saturday hours
Weekend availability required
