Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.

POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Equipment Manager, plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises the day-to-day operations of a single facility. Responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and new builds, on all company owned assets. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Assesses workload, prepares servicing schedules, and assigns and delegates duties performed within the facility.

Recommends, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, and standards for all aspects of fleet maintenance.

Plans, assigns, prioritizes, and evaluates the work of subordinate staff.

Makes recommendations for changes in staffing as necessary to meet demands of workload.

Serves as primary contact for service or repair; confers with colleagues to understand problems and make diagnoses; communicates technical information in layman's terms as necessary for non-mechanically inclined understanding and satisfaction.

Uses computer to record, retrieve, and analyze data.

Develops, implements, enforces, and maintains safety standards, policies, practices, and procedures to comply with laws and regulations, minimizing accidents and injuries; assists in the planning, development, and implementation of safety programs.

Acts for the Equipment Manager in his/her absence.

Makes preliminary assessments of accident damage and arranges for necessary repairs.

Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of a variety of mandated reports, records, and files; and maintains the required documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Five years of experience in the repair and fabrication of heavy equipment including experience using electronic diagnostic equipment; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience working in a lead capacity is desirable.

Ability to: plan, coordinate, assign, organize, prioritize, delegate, and evaluate work.

Read, interpret, and apply administrative and operational regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Use available information to make sound decisions.

Determine and estimate labor and materials requirements.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with mechanics and customers to provide instruction and customer service.

Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with colleagues, subordinates, customers, vendors.

Calculate averages and percentages and perform basic computations; prepare employee performance evaluations and workers' compensation paperwork; read and understand technical information.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: 3 years related experience in field and office

Other Requirements: Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities.
