Responsibilities
Most common inspection takes 5-6 minutes.
Complete inspection within 4 days after assignment.
Report general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Drive extended periods with numerous stops during the day in assigned territory.
Requirements
Computer with internet connection.
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage a plus; you pay your own gas).
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Printer.
Pass standard background check using valid driver’s license.
Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate; rates vary by county and volume.
Earn equivalent of $30-$40 per hour. Depending on county, complete 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates, higher volume counties lower rates. Work consistent month-to-month.
No mileage reimbursement beyond flat fee per inspection.
