District Manager – leads food & nutrition programs for large school districts generating $20M+ revenue, focusing on growth, cost, productivity and team leadership.

Job Responsibilities

A bachelor’s degree from a four‑year accredited institution per USDA guidelines.

Multi‑unit/multi‑site leadership in contract food management and large‑scale food service operations.

Demonstrate Aramark’s value to clients, customers and employees.

Strong financial acumen in a Profit/Loss environment across multiple units/sites.

Lead large teams across a district to deliver an exceptional experience.

Drive growth of new business and retain current business.

Leadership – oversee operational management, financial performance, safety, quality and service excellence; coach, mentor and develop employees.

Client Relationship – maintain rapport, identify client needs and facilitate new business and retention activities.

Financial Performance – build revenue, manage budgets and deliver P&L targets using Aramark systems.

Productivity – lead managers in implementing labor and financial initiatives, enforce cost controls, profit management and operational excellence standards; manage supply chain and procurement compliance.

Compliance – ensure safe and healthy environments for clients, customers and employees, following all applicable policies and regulations.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree from a four‑year accredited institution per USDA guidelines.

Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience in a K12/Student Nutrition environment preferred.

Proven leadership experience over 5‑10 years, including P&L responsibility within the food and beverage industries.

Demonstrated leadership skills with broad management knowledge, business judgment and client/consumer interaction.

Confirmed ability to hire, assess, develop and grow hard‑working talent.

Established communication and teamwork skills to work with all levels of the organization.

Proven success in a repeatable business model, including leading through change and turnaround initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree required per USDA guidelines; advanced degree in business or related field preferred.
