Automotive Account Manager

Sanhua International is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in our San Jose, CA office. The Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing and expanding relationships with existing clients while also seeking out and acquiring new clients for the company's products. The focus of this vital role is to create a positive working relationship with clients and address any issues and respond to questions.
The ideal candidate has experience in account management and developing new business opportunities among both existing and new customers, and excels in cross‑functional collaboration with customer service and product development to improve the entire customer experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee customer account management – includes developing new business and negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profits.
Collaborate cross‑functionally – work closely with the sales team to achieve quotas while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with products and services.
Collaborate with internal design/QA/process teams to deliver quotations and DFM for customers.
Ensure delivery to customers – facilitate the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Forecast and track sales for each customer. Weekly monitor customer EDI and control inventory levels.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Mechanical Engineering or Engineering degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in a sales/account manager role for automotive customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Familiarity with CRM software preferred.
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive and C‑level.
Some travel required for this role.
