MasTec Civil is currently hiring for a Carpenter Foreman. The foreman supervises and coordinates the work of construction workers on a site, ensuring the job is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. The foreman maintains crew safety while meeting daily production targets and handles documentation such as timesheets, production reports, labor reports, and other essential records. * Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel. * Sustain daily safety meetings with all crew members at the beginning of each different job activity. * Explain construction means and methods to crew members as needed for daily activities. * Delegating responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors. * Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs. * Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures. * Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably. * Regularly reporting project status to supervisors. * Maintaining a clean and organized work area and improving housekeeping practices. Qualifications

* Good verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles. * Ability to read and understand drawings and plans. * Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites. * Thorough understanding of quality building practices. * Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them. * Must be familiar with the dot specs and requirements (For Roadway and MOT operations).
