Job Title Trailer Mechanic
We are a Heavy Duty Truck Dealership seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems of trailers. This role involves installing and fabricating new trailers, performing routine maintenance, replacing damaged parts, and welding as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems of trailers
Install and fabricate new trailers according to specifications
Perform routine maintenance on trailers to ensure optimal performance
Replace damaged parts and components as necessary
Execute welding tasks to repair or enhance trailer structures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
