Responsibilities
As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team while providing outstanding customer service to our clients. If you have strong technical skills and in a managerial or supervisory roles in tax compliance, quality assurance and tax planning to a diversified, closely held client base, we'd love to talk with you!
Your Role:
Managing our tax department in tax compliance, planning and quality assurance – we deal primarily with closely held, entrepreneurial companies and their owners.
Quality assurance on individual, fiduciary, estate, gift and partnership tax returns.
Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships.
Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff.
Managing, in a team environment, the workflow of products through the tax department.
Qualifications
5 – 7 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax including technical tax compliance, planning & projections and research.
Bachelor's degree in accounting; MST a plus.
CPA certification (EA considered).
Strong computer skills, CCH Axcess, RIA Checkpoint, Quickbooks experience a plus.
Experience managing multiple client engagements.
A strong sense of ownership for delivering outstanding client service.
Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills.
This position is in our San Jose office; we are open to a hybrid in office / remote arrangement. Salary – to be discussed depending on experience.
